IE Explorer problems

I'm running Vista Home (and wish I wasn't), and have at least two problems
with IE Explorer:
1. If I'm not already on line, I can not connect to the Internet from a
link. I get a message saying Explorer is not responding. I never had, and
still don't have that problem iwth my laptop running XP.

2. I created an administrator account for myself in Vista. When I'm on as
administrator, I can not connect to IE Explorer at all.

Any answers for these problems I never had before Vista? Thanks in advance.

I would suggest you try resetting your Internet Explorer settings, in IE,
click Tools > Options > Advanced (tab) under 'Reset Internet Explorer
Settings' click 'Reset'.
