Download, *save*, and then install Firefox 3.0.17

Once SP3 has been successfully applied you can remove Firefox from
Add/Remove Programs or retain it. Support for that specific Version is
supposed to end this month.
Strongly suggest that if you do retain Firefox, install the NoScript
add-on that stops all scripts from running unless *you* specifically
allow them to:

Finally, install IE8 ASAP whether you're going to use it or not since
it's embedded into all Windows OS':
