Hi Kathryn,
I notice that you have used the upgrade disk of Windows Vista. There is
nothing wrong with that, but you might need to approach your upgrade in a
slightly different way. If you refer to the post 'Activation error Home
Premium UG over WinXP Prof', also in this newsgroup, you will find
instructions on using upgrade media to clean install. Hopefully this will
solve your problem.
