IE6 Problem after microsoft update

I am using win xp SP2. after installing microsoft update, a Security Update
for Word 2002 (KB895589), and an update for Intel Corporation - Networking -
Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection off of the update site, my IE6 loads
pages slow and won't load the pictures on my personal blog. i tried
restoring my computer but it says it's unable to do that also. My blog loads
fine on other comps, so I think the problem is local to IE6 on my comp. Help!

I'm not sure why it did this, but when I changed the source code to my
pictures, and then saved the template, and then changed it back and resaved,
it started loading fine again. Maybe i just fixed the aesthetics, i dunno.

Try Taking Out the Trash: http://aumha.org/a/health.htm (Item 4) and rolling
back the Intel driver you installed.

Knowledgeable users *never* install driver updates or updates for non-MS
products offered by Windows Update.
