Please open the log related to this installation, which you should find in
the WINNT folder. If you use a command prompt, you could go to that folder
and search like this: After opening the command prompt.
1. Type: cd %windir% <Enter> <--This means press the Enter key, not type
the characters.
2. Once in the directory, type: dir *.log /od <Enter> This will list all
the .log files in date order, with the last file very likely matching the
name of the IE6 SP1 installation executable.
3. Assuming this is correct, reply to this newsgroup posting and send us
back the first errors that made up the failure, along with some text around
these failures so we can understand where it failed.
