Hi,

I type in the address bar, hit enter or click the arrow - nothing happens.
Gone back to IE6 for time being. Suggestions gratefully received...thanks
Stephen

What do you type in the address bar. And what changes to defaults, if any,
have you made? IN particular about the search engine usage.

Thank you,

I just type the url (ie.www.bbc.co.uk) into the address bar and nothing
happens. Interestingly IE7 on my media center works fine. I have the latest
Google toolbar and Norton anti virus which I have not yet installed on my
media center machine. I have not changed any defaults.

thanks

Stephen

When you type that in and hit Return or click the GO button, does it change
to:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/ ?

If it's not adding the http://, either a setting has been corrupted or
inadvertantly changed.

If that's not happening, come back and ask about why it's not happening; I
can NOT seem to find the answer right now, but I know it's available (brain
ache!).
If it is happening, then it's something outside of IE most likely cuasing
the problem.

Try adjusting your Search settings to whatever your preferred search engine
is and see if that helps. Personally I like google right now.
