Using Vista Home Premium, when I try to Open a school websites docs thru the
File Download window, the tab freezes, I use Task Manager to end. Have talked
to support at school district but they just enabled active x controls and IE7
still freezes in their website. The only way I can view the docs are to Save
in a file first, then open. This is the only website I have with this problem
with. Does this suggest a setting to change? You guys&gals have helped me
before, so I turn to you again.

Hi Kim,

As it's only the one site, I'd look to the application being used to open
the document. Many insert a plug-in for the browser to respond to the sites'
request. The source of your problem may lie here in it being corrupt.

Thanks for the advice, however my computer situation has become worse, ie7
crashes immediatly upon opening so i switched to mozilla for the interem, and
none of my logins are saved even through i resent the settings, and right now
as i was sending this message i got this response:
Connection Interrupted
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please
try again.
Any advice?
