Hi Michel
I have tried everything suggested in the article, even restoring
to a 2 month old restoration point which I knew to be "good"
for IE7 and the Web Cams I use on the Costa Blanca Viz
:-http://webcam.comunitatvalenciana.com/
I suspect my problems could stem from when I installed "Acronis
Privacy Expert Suite 9.0"
After numerous difficulties, their customer support admitted that
there were incompatibility problems with XP and I subsequenty
uninstalled the program.
From the article, I now suspect there may be a registry problem
and that I may have to reinstall Windows or alternatively use
Mozilla Firefox.
PS Most of my neighbours on the small urbanization where I live
are from Holland and at the moment, your weather is better than ours.
Many thanks David Allen--
