IE7 does not run properly unless opened as Admin

I also posted this in the Internet Explorer discussion group. We are using
Vista Home premium. We have two user accounts on our computer. My wife's
user account runs IE7 without any problems. When I run IE7 under my user,
many images will not display. For example, on this site
(windowshelp.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups) the black menu bar does
not display, I just get the red x boxes. The links still work, they just
don't display correctly. Also, the menu at the left side of this page does
not display (Community, Discussions, Columns, Blogs, etc.)

When I run IE as administrator, everything works fine. I have tried
resetting IE7, but that does not work. Since my wife's user id works, it
does not appear to be any of the add-ins. Is there something corrupt in my
user id?

Any help would be appreciated.

John O

Did you changed some folders path (e.g. Temporary Internet or the
TEMP-folder)? Many people reporting problems with that in German Vista
newsgroups. An other issue are Antivirus Software (but this should be
unlikely, becaus it works fine on your 2nd account).

Greetings

Thank you for the feedback. None of the directories have been moved. The
only change that was made recently was that I changed the account from an
Adminstrator account, to a Standard account. Then I changed it back to an
Administrator account. However, I am not sure when I started having this
problem.

Could it be a Java issue?

Regards,
