IE7 favourites"link"dissapearence

I was using IE6 for many moons with no problems at all,after downloading IE7
firstly my favourite's were still there in name only but no icon other than
the IE icon and were not accessable.
One more problem i never experienced before but do now is every so often
when i try to access websites it cuts my internet connection completely with
no warning,any help would be appreciated.

Not really a problem with Windows Update.

Please try the IE7 group.
The recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general
