Just wondering if anyone has come across this problem.

I had the last RC of IE7 on my XP PC working perfectly. I then downloaded
and installed the final public release of IE7 and now in the Lan Settings
area it has set IE7 to use a proxy server with Address: localhost and Port:
2323

With my computer set to use a proxy server and these settings whenever I try
to get updates from windowsupdate it fails with the error -> Error number:
0x80072F78

But if I go into the Local Area LAN settings and tick - Automatically detect
settings then try Windows Update it work.

My problem is everytime I reboot my PC it keeps setting IE to use the Proxy
Server when I just want it to use Automatically Detect so Windows Update will
work.

I have followed the instructions on -> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/836941
but it makes no difference, there is nothing set in my hosts file that is
putting this setting back in all the time after I do a re-boot of my PC, so I
dont know how its happening or how to fix this.

Can anyone help?
