Did as you said and closed IE7 then went to control panel to open internet
properties and then Add-ons.
Went through the list and still the only option is to enable or disable the
add-ons. (IE7 + vista home basic)
As a comparison, I checked this at the office where I run XP Pro and it has
similar entries for which the Delete ActiveX button is not grayed out. This
also has all the columns permanent in the add-ons window (not just name).
Perhaps this is only a feature of the professional or uplevel versions of
the OS.
I am resisting 'upgrading' Visa Home basic until I get a darn good reason to
do so. The feature list *that I have seen thus far* on the uplevel versions
don't do anything for me.
