Hi all,
I recieved an auto update from Microsoft? and it said updating to IE7 Pro?.
After the download IE7 was brand new(which I already had) All my favorites
gone, but also Outlook Express 6 gone with all my folders and the address
book missing. Can anyone help to explain what happened and can I prevent it
happenning again? Has all my data been stolen by some dastardly hacker??
Please help.
Kind regards

IE7 Pro is a third-party add-on for IE7 and is *not* from Microsoft.
Try removing it from Add/Remove Programs in your Control Panel.
Your issue here is that you are not being careful in what you are installing.
Unless an update is delivered via Windows Update or from the MS
Download Centre, you probably don't need it unless it was recommended
to you by someone you can trust like an MS-MVP.

IE7 Pro is a toolbar: Did you install it?

Did this "auto-update" arrive via Windows Automatic Updates or...?
