IE7 the size of a postage stamp when it opens?

When I open a new link or I just open a new browser, IE7 opens a browser the
size of a postage stamp. I remember the older IE's would open the size you
last closed them. I am using a laptop and I gets to be very taxing to have to
always have to maximize the new browser I use. I can't always use a new tab
while working inside IE. Is there a setting I can set in the options that
would open all my IE browsers to max size?

Open IE, use a link to open a second window, close the original window, move
the cursor to the edge of the window to drag the window to the edge of the
screen, do this for all edges of the window, select file>close.
