Hello, i am a .net developer and i have a large userbase testing the programs
i create.. This problem i face has been through wide amounts of testing..
My application uses WMP Control.. to play a list mp3's..

My application work great up until microsoft released update for Internet
Explorer..
The update is IE7 Update is:
KB947864 it was Released April 8th 2008

Recently all the users that use my app no longer can stream the tracks in
the app i made, when i did some testing i found out it was this IE Update
conflicting, i told users to remove KB947864 and all the users came back with
yes my app was working again..

I installed the update myself and the player stoped working, uninstalled the
update it was workign again..

So you get my point how i know its this update is causing more problems than
it infact solves..

Your probably thinking well this is your app sort it out yourself..

The problem doesnt lie in my app..

The problem lies in the changes the update has made to everyones computers..

-----------------------------------------

If you are to open Windows Media Player 11 when you have that update
installed..
And try to stream 2 urls..
The first 1 will connect buffer n stream..
If you skip to a next stream or place another url Windows media player 11
will crash.

Its somthing todo with authentication to remote server from within Media
player 11 that it will only authenticate once, when you try track to with
same authentication it will not connect.. it gets stuck in a loop.

Can anybody please find out what this update is doing this?

Loads of people have marked this as helpful..
Most probably becuase they uninstall the update..

But that isnt good enough for me, becuase my application is no good if
microsoft are gonna release updates that cause problems.

Is sombody gonna look into this problem?
