when I try to open ie7 I receive this message twice..
Cannot find 'file:///C:/Program%20Files/AOL%20Toolbar/welcome.html'.Make
sure path or Internet address is correct. After 2nd message, ie7 opens but
will not open home page or any page unless address is typed in.I'm not using
aol, but did remove toolbar?????
I would like to open my ie7 without the message and open to my home page.
can any help me with this issue?

Hi,
Windows XP or Vista? (Might or might not matter.)

Any AOL programs listed in Add or remove programs?

Any mention of AOL in IE> Tools> Manage add-ons?

Go to Start> Run> (type in) msconfig> Startup tab. Is anything from AOL
listed? If so, uncheck it and restart.

Hope this helps,
Don

Windows version?
Have you tried uninstalling the AOL Toolbar?

What if you go to Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools |
Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).
