IE8 Favorites - Vista x64 SP2

I imported bookmarks of Firefox into Favorites of IE8 but nothing is
displayed on the sidebar for Favorites.
Before importing I deleted everything on the sidebar. Is this the cause
of the problem? If so how can I undo what I did?

The problem has been resolved. They showed up in the side bar when I
clicked "Favorite".
