Got the IE9 update in my vista updates. Despite some basic problems with the
WLM I have on my vista machine, I have not updated WLM and prefer that it
stay that way for now

Question is will the IE9 update do anything unexpected to WLM?

Thanks

Bill

There are some issues being reported(not all the same or explained very
well) that installation of IE9 is causing issues with the default font for
plain text reading in WLM.

Apparently it's more significant on those using Vista's Windows Mail on
Win7 where one copied the Vista files from a Vista machine to the Win7
machine which doesn't natively support Windows Mail.

Not everyone is experiencing the issue either...thus ymmv.

Thanks Winston I am still on the fence with it. I don’t really need it as I
use FF and or Chrome but like to keep things current

Yes, I can atest to the fact that IE9 will screw up the the fonts in WLM
2011 on a fresh install of win 7, could no longer change font size in
reading pane, they were much too big. I finally got fed up and reverted back
to to IE8.

Regards, Rene
