I am hoping that someone her might be able to help with an issue i hav
and have been having trouble finding a solution.

Every time i boot up i'm getting loads of messages like :-

explorer.exe - Bad Image

C:\Windows\system32\ieframe.dll is either not designed to run o
Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program agai
using the original installation media or contact your syste
administrator or the software vendor for support.

I had Vista Home Premium 32-bit version for about a week and at first
had no real problems until this. The message constantly pops up whe
new programs run, i cannot use IE and i cannot access Interne
Options.

Can anyone suggest anything.

Many thank

Enter ieframe.dll into Google and you will get lots of hits,,,,,
hopefully some of the 1st ones contain your answer. This
could be a network issue.

Check Windows Defender - MSCONFIG and Task
Manager for your Startup Problem

Run the System File Checker. To do this, right click on Command
Prompt (Start Menu\Programs\Accessories), and choose
Run as Administrator. Copy the following, and Paste it after the prompt:

sfc /scannow

Press Enter. It will scan all your system files. It may take a few
minutes. If things are okay, you are given the text message "Windows
Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations". If things
aren't okay, it will attempt to replace the bad system files.

Your bad image error indicates that C:\Windows\system32\ieframe.dll is
corrupted, which would keep IE from running.

Also you may want to run chkdsk. You can run the tool by opening
Computer, right-clicking on the drive you want to check, and choose
Properties.

Then click on the Tools tab. Click on Check Now. Put a check next to the
first choice (Automatically fix file system errors). Schedule a scan for
the next time you start your computer.

I have Home Premium 64bit and I've been getting the message quite
often now that IE7 has encountered a problem and needs to restart.
When I use the event viewer the problem it is always IEFRAME.DLL. I
have scanned my system files and they are fine as are my hard drives.
When I switch to Firefox it does not have this problem.

This started a few weeks ago and I have read somewhere that one of the
MS updates broke IE7. Has there been any indication when they will
fix it or will we have to wait for IE8?
