Every time I open up Internet Explorer, 'Iexplore' it appears twice on the
task manager window (when I view it with CTRL+ALT+DELETE). The problem is,
'Iexplore' appears in the task manager window EVERY time I open Internet
Explorer, so I end up with around 20 or so once the day is done, and this
sucks up a ton of memory. I want to know what's causing this and how it can
be fix.

Always post version details when you are asking for help.
Your observation would be normal for IE8 users.

What you're seeing is default behavior for IE8; cf.
