Hide Windows Update
Go to the Windows Update site, there you can click on the [+] next to the item
description and then check the "don't show me this update again" box, and Windows
update/Automatic Updates will be hidden and not offered unless you unhide it.

| Hi NG,
|
| please could someone tell me what I can do if I do not want to have a
| certain update? Actually my settings were all the while on auto update, but
| I tried to set it to the middle option Notify me but do not automatically
| download or install ... because I do not want the last update that comes
| again undemanded. Does not seem to work. As soon as I go online it is
| downloading the latest updates again and I do not get any option to chose
| what I want to install. All of a sudden I am being told that updates are
| waiting when I want to shut down the pc. The only option at this moment
| would be to deny all updates, I cannot see what type of updates are
| available or chose whether I want them or not.
|
| Thanks for your help,
|
