No, use the same Product Key you used originally.

Hi;

The product key should be on the back of the CD case holding your
Windows CD-ROM. That key stays with that CD forever.

You will not have to get a new product key, but if this is Windows XP
you will have to activate the product again once you have it installed.

No to your question, If you have XP then you might need a new activation key
if it was less than 120 days since you last activated your XP. If it was
more than 120 days you should be able to activate over the internet without
a problem. To reinstall XP/ME/98 you will need the original Product Key
which is on a sticker either on the case of your machine or on the card that
your XP CD came attached to, or the case/sleeve your 98/ME disk came in. If
it is an upgrade disk then you will need the original qualifying disk.

If you are using the same O/S (operating system) as you were before you will
not need a new activation key, however if your upgrading your 0/S from Win98
to XP for example the activation key will be different and then you would
need one.
