If by magic all PCs got Vista installed on them simultaneously...

The world would suffer the greatest catastrophy of all times... a billion
times worse than what they were afraid of on Y2K.

Just imagine.. nothing working, everyone scrambling to make their computers
perform as a computer should .. and failing...

airplanes falling, hospitals in chaos, bank accounts mixed up, the energy
grid falling apart......



thats why vista is worse than a virus.. its more like a trojan, people sell
it, you even willingly install it..
and then you end up shooting the computer with a gun (see releative story)

The world would be a better place.

I'd be rich being the only one with a working computer. I do not have
any of those problems, so I guess it's me there's something wrong with,
but who cares if wrong means getting the job done!

"If" has been called the largest word in the English language.
Then what other changes are involved?
Surely something so vastly powerful could not possibly be limited to
the very narrow effect you suggest.
That is one thing that makes this assumption of yours so ludicrous.
Extremely narrow views with Windows bashing ignoring FACTS many
successfully use windows Vista.
Again you ASSUME one thing and conveniently ignoring all the rest.

Who was "they"?
If you check you find many were not afraid because they simply took
prudent action.
Perhaps you were one of those caught in the media hype and you
conveniently ignored some basic facts contributing to the largely
unfounded fears.
