if i restore back to factory

my computer keeps locking up betweenpages and sites also having problem with
typing letters keep falling off words in sentence not sure weather 1 has
anything to do with other--Question if i go back to factory settings what
would happen to my upgrades and other stuff thaks Linda

They should auto install, as Auto Updates is turned on by default.

Have you thought about System Restore?
Depending on your problems and the cause you might be infected with a Virus
and/or lots of Spyware. Before I'd do a Factory Settings I'd try System
Restore and go back before the problems began.

Hi folks, i have a McAfee trial 60 day with virus protection it says there
is a
generic PUP.a ---do i now have to buy the remover tool they are sending me to
If I restore back 2-3 weeks will the generic PUP.a come with me the tool is
almost 70 dollars thanks for

It's possible the generic PUP.a is in your System Restore and yes you will
get it back, but I believe with Avast you can then get rid of it. I just
suggested a System Restore before I'd do a Factory Restore, it's totally up
to you.

IMO I would get rid of McAfee period and install the FREE version of Avast.

removing mcafee and adding avast
