If you can please help me

I had just bought my laptop and was wondering if anyone could answer this
question for me. Twice now my screen has gone blank and none of my buttons on
the keypad will work, all I can do is hold down the power button to shut it
down and then restart the system. Does anyone know why this is happening and
what I can do to fix it.

Hi, this sounds like a hardware fault so the laptop manufacturer would be a
good contact to start troubleshooting. Also make sure you have the latest
Vista updates and firmware updates from the manufacturer.

what were you doing at the moment.. what programs were running..
?
someone said something about a hardware prob... I really doubt that.

Return it and get a different one.
