I'm emoticon - different colors to correspond with different chari

First off - great idea. I know several people that use the Live (formerly
MSN) messenger service with a program like Trillian or GAIM because they hate
the advertisements.

This gives them an incentive to actually use the official program (of which
I'm a big fan of) and gives a nice sense of accompilishment (as well as doing
something useful with those ad dollars!)

One comment though - would it be possible to have different colored
emoticons for the different causes? Red for AIDS, pink for breast cancer,
etc? It'd be a nice way to differentiate everyone on my contact list.

Correct. Currently there is only one i'm emoticon.

You can get images for you blog, website, email signature, display picture,
etc that have the specific cause you are supporting on it here:
http://im.live.com/Messenger/IM/Contribute/
