Went to the "AutoPlay" Configurer in Control panel.
Checkmarked "Use AutoPlay for all media and devices" and went to set
settings for all types of media.
It just doesn't work.
Any have any ideas?

Hi Martha,

You might check the "Shell Hardware Detection" service to see if it is
set to "Automatic" and "Started". You can see how in this tutorial.
