Image file

Hi, I have a strange problem, I don't succeed in changing my personal image.
Any image that I try to use is refused me with the message of
error: "You have selected a file image non valid" .... I thought it was due
to some softwares that I had installed that the had made unstable my laptop
..... but also after a formatting I have the same problem

I have exactly the same problem. I am using Vista Ultimate, but I did not
instal any new software ... the problem was in my new computer, Live Mesenger
was the first software installed after running Vista.
