When I have a video call, my webcam image is upside down (on my computer and
on the other person's computer). The camera of the other person on the call
is fine.

I checked the webcam using its own manager software and it is working fine
(no inverted image).

I can't find any options or properties to change this with Live
Messenger...PLEASE HELP

Hi Susie,

That's because you are Mirroring Vertical in WebCam Settings.

Uncheck it in Advanced. Under your picture, then using the WebCamera,
click on the Down Arrow, then click WebCam Settings.

Then follow the links to change the settings for your Camera.

Hi,

Hm, I'm afraid I don't agree with that as that setting only affects what you see and doesn't
make you appear upside down.

However, checking what's happening in that dialog is a good idea. As another way to the
dialog quickly, one can open up any Messenger window, press the Alt key on the keyboard,
choose the Tool menu, and then select the Webcam settings option.

If it is upside down there too, click the Advanced button there as there may be an upside
down option in that dialog.

Failing all that as a last resort, one could physically turn the webcam upside down.
