Hm, I'm afraid I don't agree with that as that setting only affects what you see and doesn't
make you appear upside down.
However, checking what's happening in that dialog is a good idea. As another way to the
dialog quickly, one can open up any Messenger window, press the Alt key on the keyboard,
choose the Tool menu, and then select the Webcam settings option.
If it is upside down there too, click the Advanced button there as there may be an upside
down option in that dialog.
Failing all that as a last resort, one could physically turn the webcam upside down.
