Image in a webpage that is a link does not work with IE browser

If I am in a webpage and click an image link i.e. jpeg I receive error 404
website not found. Any suggestions to fix the problem?
I tried both IE 6 and IE 7 same problem I installed a user agent string
utility
made no difference.

Works on my old computer with IE 6 inc. friends that I get to try the link
on their computers. They say it works. It must be a setting somewhere on my
browser?
You could try to click the jpeg calendar on this site. When you click the
real calendar should come up.

Hi,
Well, it took me a while to spot the tiny little calendar, but...
The calendar opens in a pop-up window. Disable your pop-up blockers-
Internet Explorer, Yahoo toolbar, Google toolbar, Norton (?) etc. You may
have a pop-up blocker operating that you had forgotten about.
