Import To Contacts

I have a access 2007 table with email addresses that I want to import into
Windows Live Mail Contacts.

And although Access and Windows Live Mail are produced and maintained by the
same company I find no comparable file format to import this Access data
into the Windows Live Contacts.
Am I missing something??

Seems easier to export a access table to other db managers by other
companies.

James

The 'universal' cross-app format for contacts data is CSV, and my dear old
Access 2000 is quite capable of exporting a table to CSV (you'll probably
find it under 'Text files' in the Export > File type dialogue).

A word of advice: check that your field names are the same as those used in
WLMail, that phone numbers are formatted as text and that text fields -
especially those with commas in them, like "1100, Pennsylvania Avenue", are
enclosed in double quotes (" "). You may find it better to use the web
interface (at contacts.live.com) to perform the import, because there are
more fields available and it often works better.

In Access 2007 under 'Text File' it only allows .txt
