How to import contacts from Windows live mail to windows live mail

Hi ,
I'm not able to import contacts from windows Live mail(in xp) to
windows live mail(in Windows 7).
Though i know how to import contacts from outlook or windows mail to Windows
Live mail.

Do you have Windows Live Mail in both installs sign-in with the same
Live ID? That should sync the contacts automatically. If using the
'default' set of contacts (which are active when not signed-in), export
to the CSV format, then import that CSV file.
