Import encrypted Windows Live Contacts?

Hi, I recently changed computers and have my contacts saved in a file that I
put on a pen drive for transfer. I no longer want to use the Windows Live
Messenger ID that I used before, but would like to import those contacts to
my new ID. I have the folder full of encrypted contacts, but when I try to
import them, I keep getting an "Internal Server Error."

Is there any way to make this work? I don't know if the files are the
problem, or if it's the fact that I'm trying to import contacts from my old
ID/email
address to my new one. The account that the contacts are from is very old,
and I don't even remember the password or security questions...

Any suggestions-- and thanks in advance!
