Save the iTunes playlist as an m3u file. If you then put this file in
the Music folder, it should get picked up by WMP.

I assume you are referring to "export" function, which in iTunes only allows
..xml and .txt formats. Can't find a way in iTunes to save as .m3u. I was able
to convert the .txt to an Excel file if that is any help. Do you have another
clue?
Thanks

http://www.ericdaugherty.com/dev/itunesexport

I had same problem also and have just sorted it.
Copy your files (songs) to "My Music" folder. Then go to internet and put
in your search engine the words ".m4a". When I did this it gave various
websites who provide Converters. The one I chose was "Switch Sound File
Converter" provided by NCH Software. It allows you to download free. Its
simple to use. Just add the list of files you wish to convert, choose the
"m3u" option and press "Convert" button. By doing this it lets you store the
music in Windows Media Player and it plays them also. They were stored in
"Recently Added" after I had converted my files (songs).
Hope it works for you too.

Didn't you see my previous post? The first result when searching for
"itunes m3u" is http://www.ericdaugherty.com/dev/itunesexport , which
looks like it will do exactly what you want. Using a format converter
for this seems a bit overkill to me...
