I've also seen this, but have seen it with even fewer characters than Raj. I
even believed it was due to the entire file name, i.e
\\mypc\\mydocs\myDB.mdb.
When it happens, I copy the .mdb into the root of the drive, and give it a
short name. I set up the sync just as you started. That typically works. I
then right click properties in ActiveSync for Pocket Access. That brings up
a screen that shows the syncs set up. I select the one I just made, and
click properties. That shows the paths to the desktop and PPC DBs. I just
replace the desktop path with the path to the original DB. close everything
and right click Pocket Access, sync selection, and it has always worked. I
finally delete the temporary copy from the root. Silly, but it works for
me.
