I've done a clean install of Vista to dual boot alongside XP on a separate
HD. How can I import my mail and address book from Outlook in XP? Where do
I find the mail files?

I am not sure if the process differs for different versions of Office but
this is what I did with Office XP.

1) From the menu File, Import and Export, select Export to a file. (Next)
2) Select Personal Folder File (PST) (Next)
3) Highlight the Personal Folders. amd tick include subfolders (Next)
4) Use the Browse button to save where you want the PST to be saved.
(Finish)

I am sure you can work out the Import sequence from here.

Thanks - I did try that but I got a MAPI error message which stopped me from
exporting. Anyway, I found the answer to importing from Vista. It requires
you to navigate to the Identities subfolders in Local Settings in the XP
drive. What I'd done was copy all the DBX files across to the drive running
Vista, and tried to import them from there, but it wasn't having it. Vista
is a bit quirky when navigating through legacy file systems!

Problem solved now - thanks.
