Because a program I installed changed the association of *.cmd from "windows
command script" to something else I can no longer excute this file with the
"run as administrator". I don't know and can't find what windows program I
should associate with *.cmd to be able to excute this again?

Hi Jrohbock

The .CMD file extension should be associated with nothing. Thi
tutorial will show you how to unassociate it to nothing

Shaun,

Thank you for your help.

I tried the program you suggested and I'm where I started from. I deleted
the association and now I get a description "visual cadd alias" and current
application "unknown" and I'm not able to excute this *.cmd file because it
doesn't know how to handle the file.

Would deleting the file type help?
