Inadvertedly closing dialogue windows

For those of us who use the "United States (international)" keyboard, the
ESC key is adjacent to the tilde key.
Because of this, it is not infrequent for us to hit the ESC key
inadvertedly, closing the dialogue window and loosing any text not yet sent.
PROPOSED SOLUTION: Windows Live Messenger should ask for confirmation before
closing any dialogue window.
Thank you.

Greetings,

Sounds like a good idea to me (if optional).

I agree. It could be included in the TOOLS - OPTIONS - MESSAGES
configuration screen.
