Hi,

On two different PCs I have been having problems with Messenger where if I
click on a new Message Popup, or try to get to my inbox then IE opens a new
window, but it does not have any web address and even has that light blue
colour that windows that aren't ready yet show.

Before I upgraded to my New Work PC I had updated MSN Messenger with one of
the new versions issued due to security updates where this first happened.
I then installed Live Messenger which would not sign in as it could not
detect the proxy settings when "automatically detect settings" is checked
in connections under IE settings.

Some how this time when I uninstalled Live Messenger and went back to the
previous MSN version suddenly the inbox and new mail problem disappeared.

I have tried uninstalling live messenger and then rebooting despite now
message urging me to, and then reinstalling live messenger and also
rebooting but still no joy.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Peter
