We have a windows 2008 server with active directory gpo and running on our
network. Our network includes two additional subnets and subnets I can add
these pc to domain, and can not find the domain server. You can do something
to make them look at the Windows configuration or need to go to the router
and define any particular rule

Hello Erick,

If i understand you correct, you try to add a computer from a subnet to a
domain in another subnet. Make sure to use the corecct ip address of the
DNS server in the subnet where the DC is located.

Please post an unedited ipconfig /all from the DC/DNS and the problem machine.

And if that is how you put it.
Connect a client from a different subnet where the DC
the client and the network will see this in 3.1 and our domain is in the
Network 1.1

Hello erick,

If your router is setup correct to connect to the other subnets router this
works. Please describe how you have built/connected the network/machines.

steps to connect the pc to the domain are:
on the client I open the Network Connections properties play the advanced
button I go to verify the dns dns tab which is the same server where the
domain and add the dns sufino mic that is associated cia.local

on the same pc I go to the properties of my computer and change the
workgroup domain name add the credentials and reset once reboot the pc and
gives me the option to connect to domain

Hello erick,

I was talking about how the networks are built, like:

LAN1 > switch > router porta> router portb> switch > LAN2

or

ServerDC > VLAN1 > switch > VLAN2 > client1

Or howver you have connected the machines into the network.

Best regards

Hello erick,

Are you able to ping the remote DC/DNS server with ip address computer name
and FQDN and vice versa? Please post an unedited ipconfig /all from the problem
machines and the remote server.

Best regards

Regards

if I can do ping if I put the ip address from the server or a client
191.250.1.72 191.250.2.20 but if I put the client's name on my server can not
find the reverse is the same, locally if it works if you do if I can do ping
if I put the ip address from the server or a client 191.250.1.72 191.250.2.20
but if I put the client's name on my server can not find the reverse is the
same, locally if it works if you do ping a machine on the network 1 with the
name such as salespc if it works.

This really sounds like a name resolution issue.

For giggles, please edit the HOSTS file
(%SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) and add entries for the computers.

On the server add the following line (edited appropriately)

191.250.2.20 client_name

On the client add the following line (edited appropriately)

1911.250.1.72 server_name

(Or if you want to, you can add both lines to both systems.)

Reboot your computers and then try pinging by name again and see what
happens.
