I'm trying to set up a Microsoft Outlook account on my laptop. It's asking me
for Incoming and Outgoing email server names. I don't know where I can find
that information for my- account. Please help.
Appreciate it.

if you have another computer setup for that account, go to tools>accounts
and look at it.
otherwise ask the school's IT dept for the settings.

I've never heard of rangers.uwp.edu before, but it tool me only
seconds to find this page: http://www.uwp.edu/email/ You are very
likely to find answers to your question there.

By the way, for the future let me point out that you are asking an
Outlook question in a Windows Vista newsgroup. Outlook is not part of
Windows. Your question is off-topic here, and most important, you are
much more likely to get the help you're looking for if you would ask
in the Outlook newsgroup (microsoft.public.outlook) instead. That's
where you are much more likely to find Outlook experts.

Pffftttt. Questions about using standard MS utilities on the
Vista platform are most certainly appropriate for vista.GENERAL, you
net nazi.

To a great extent, I happen to agree with your statement. However
Outlook is very far from a "standard MS utility." It's not standard at
all, and costs significant extra money either by itself or as part of
Microsoft Office.

Moreover, from my message quoted above, you snipped the most important
part, the part designed to be helpful to the OP: "most important, you
are much more likely to get the help you're looking for if you would
ask in the Outlook newsgroup (microsoft.public.outlook) instead.
That's where you are much more likely to find Outlook experts."
