Incomplete uninstallation of Quickzip

Hello all,

After uninstalling Quickzip, I found out it wasn't a clean uninstall. E.g.
When I right-click on a file, the pop-up menu still contains Quickzip menu
items. When I chose this option, the Quickzip program actually got launched
(althought i couldn't do anything with it).

I uninstalled using the UNISTALLED menu option that comes with the
application, rather than using the Remove prorgram from Control Panel. Does
it matter?

And how can i clean this leftover rubbish?

Thanx in advance

L&L

You have two good ways to deal with the rightclick relic. You could
reinstall and let Programs and Features then clean it out (rightclick the
entry), or you can look at the registry entries for those filetypes
assigned. (.zip, and so on) The 'shellnew' entries can be deleted. Take a
look at this great site from Ramesh about that.

Adding and removing ShellNew entries in Windows Vista:
