Incorrect DLL loaded

hello everybody-can anyone help me solve the problem described below?

a small window pop up,in which appears "GoogleDesktop.exe
Original API DLL:C:\PROGRA~1\Google\GOOGLE~1\GOOGLE~3.DLL
Current API DLL:C:\PROGRA~1\Google\GOOGLE~1\GOOGLE~2.EXE"

Have you tried reinstalling Google Desktop?

thank you for your advice. could you tell me where i can reinstall google
desktop? do i need to download it from somewhere in the internet, is it safe
? i just bought my computer, so i am a bit serious about the reinstallation.

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but I had the same problem, did a
complete re-install of Google desktop, and still (occasionally) get
the error message.
