The Microsoft Updates page still has a link at the right sid "News -Windows
XP Users - Security Updates are mow available for SP1 and SP2 users only"
It should read for SP2 users only.
I tried to point that out to Microsoft Support, but the person who dealt
with it in outer Slombovia - or wherever, just did not understand what I was
saying and asked what problems I was having with my updates!

Hello Peter,

Windows Update is part of the Microsoft website.

Helpful hints about how to improve the Microsoft website can be
usefully given via Internet Explorer 6's Help > Online Support
which goes here: http://support.microsoft.com/gp/contactusie
Look for "Online Customer Service." Under that a link says,
"Send us your comments and questions about this Web site."
That link should be the same as this link to a feedback form:
https://support.microsoft.com/common...208&showpage=1

You may insist upon a reply to your suggestion.

Since Security Updates still may be available for SP1 users, the correction
you wished to contribute may have confused the support operator. It is
sensible to use weasel words and check your facts, spelling and grammar,
because it's silly to three finger yourself Slombovian

Take care,
Michael
