INCORRECT MEMORY SIZE REPORTED AFTER INSTALLING SP1

Hi

I have recently installed SP1 and vista now reports that I have 8Gb
installed when in fact I only have 2Gb. Any suggestions please on why this
is happening?

Gigabyte MB S754 2Gb DDR400 Crucial RAM installed

And I thought I was the only one with this problem.

Mine reports 18 GB after SP1. Actually has 4 GB installed.

Hi Rob,

I made a post back in march about the same problem here in Vistax64. It
seems ,though, that nobody really has an answer! I even look
in Google for an answer but there are not many posts out there regarding
this problem. I am glad that you made a post here, maybe then MS will
finally take a look at it, if they are not already doing so...
