Help please. I was the only administrator account on our computer and it
is now saying incorrect name or password? Name is correct on login so
must be password. I have never changed password or forgot it? Tried
password recovery 5.0 but i can't even download or upgrade anything
without admin password. Found thread to use netplwiz or control
userpassword2 but it just shuts down computer. Another site i was on
asking for help pretty much acussed me of having a stolen computer.
Can't change or do anything on here now except to search or e-mail. Any
advice?

There is only ONE way it can be fixed. The first URL is where you get
the basic idea and download the ISO file that you must burn to a CD
using a burning program that specializes in such burning, like
ImgBurn. Unfortunately, you'd better have one on your system, because
to install one, you will need your password.

Anyway... here are two URLs... the first to download, the second is a
detailed description of what you do with the CD you burn.

I think the best way for you is to reset your windows password. The Windows password Reset
can solve all your problem within a few minutes. Importantly,No need to call a technician, no need to re-install anything, and you certainly don't need to reformat.
