I currently own an Asus Striker 2 Formula motherboard which uses the 780i SLI
chipset, today after a format i did an update for my Vista, i unticked the
Raid chipset driver as it said it was for chipset 580, installed the 58
updates and rebooted. Once windows was back on i went back to windows update
and it said i had one update to install, i installed and then rebooted.

On windows loading screen i was met with blue screen of death, the driver i
just installed was that 5xx one.

I luckily didnt disable system restore and so was able to get my computer
back to how it was before that driver update. Where do i report windows
update trying to install the wrong update? Im sure it will happen to plenty
of others once the motherboard becomes cheaper - it needs to recognise the
difference between 5xx and 780i.
