My dad has a Vista Enetrprise Laptop for his work and he put in new RAM and
when he checked for his new score, he went down to a 3.0 from a 3.1.
is there anything i can do to help him?

well you can falsify the reading to show 3.2 or more if you want. but you
shouldn't believe the number, my score went down when i put better ram than
what i had, and to prove it the performance was better, if i can give you an
advice, it's just a number, it barely means anything. at least it don't on
my pc, windows areo is supposed to have a score of 3.0 to run, i have a 2.3
score and it workes wanders, they said you need 128 mb of video memory, i
have 32mb and again it works wanders, so don't worry about it, but if you
want your dad to stop worrying about it, you can falsify the number. you can
do it as a prank or to make him feel better.

Many here have said that adding more RAM does not necessarily improve your
WEI score. The Index results are usually attributed to the component with
the lowest score. The best recommendation is to upgrade components where
there is a genuine need. The numbers to be honest can be misguiding at times
and in some cases only influence consumers to upgrade when they don't need
to.

Is the laptop functioning properly otherwise?
