Information about what? Your computer specs? Control Panel>System. Or use
one of the free system inventory programs:

http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html - Belarc Advisor
http://www.gtopala.com/ - System Information for Windows

If this is what you wanted to know, great. If not, please post back *after*

It all depend upon what information you are actually after. As a start you
could try the following:

1/ Click the start button
2/ Click all programs
3/ Click Accessories
4/ From the accessories drop down menu, Click system tools
5/ from the system tools menu, click System information

On the Twelfth day of Christmas ,
my Apple gave to me
Twelve blown-out circuits
Eleven damaged diskettes
Ten disk-drive lockouts
Nine burnt-out fuses
Eight worthless printouts
Seven system resets
Six I/O spasms
Five Blank Cassettes
Four garbled SAVEs
Three loose plugs
Two keyboard bounces
And a glitch on the video screen

Linda, Yes Belarc is a good option and is recommended quite a lot. I agree
the Vista system information is rather 'techy' to say the least but with you
not giving much away as to what information you required the Vista system
information was the easiest option.
