Information required on Windows Download

Looking for info on how or why I'm not receiving any downloads from
Microsoft.Validation key is not the issue.Setting for automatic download is
on,trusted sites setting is set.Using service pack 3,Xp Pro.Also no updates
for my Windows Defender.Would appreciate any input into this problem.

try using dial a fix
http://wiki.lunarsoft.net/wiki/Dial-...C_and_articles
Dial-a-fix v0.60.0.24 (2006-10-27)

once installed go down to where you see WU/WUAU

WU/WUAU stands for "Windows Update/Windows Update: Automatic Update".
Click on fix windows updates.
then click Go
wait till it is finished
close the program
then restart your computer
then try windows update site again
robin
